Turkey has expressed its deepest condolences to the Brazilian government and the victims of Tuesday's plane crash that left dozens dead, including the members of a football team.
In a statement released on its official website Wednesday, the Foreign Affairs Ministry said: "We would like to express our condolences to the families and friends of those who lost their lives, especially to the friendly Brazilian people and the government."
The plane carrying at least 81 passengers crashed near Medellin in Colombia flying from Santa Cruz, Bolivia on Tuesday. At least six people survived the crash, with one of them later succumbing to his injuries.
