Bringing together genres of science fiction, thriller, horror and drama on the silver screen, "The Girl with All the Gifts" will hit theaters on Sept. 30. Adapted from Mike Carey's namesake novel, the film's press release was held at Beyoğlu Cinema. Starring Sennia Nanua, Gemma Arterton, Glenn Close and Paddy Considine, "The Girl with All the Gifts" was directed by Colm McCarthy, accomplished director of brilliant British series such as "Doctor Who," "Sherlock," and "Peaky Blinders." Humanity is face to face with the threat of extinction because of a virus that destroys free will and turns humans into cannibal "hungries." Only a bunch of kids show signs of immunity against the virus. These unique kids are held in a brutal medical facility led by Dr. Caldwell located in a military base in Britain. Still possessing the ability to sense and think, these children, humanity's last hope, are scattered into wilderness following an attack on the base.
