The Turkish government has been gathering donations and delivering aid to displaced Rohingya Muslims through various aid organizations.
The Humanitarian Relief Foundation (İHH) has been delivering aid to Rohingyas living in refugee camps after having fled their native Myanmar for neighboring Bangladesh.
During the holy month of Ramadan, the İHH was in Bangladesh to deliver humanitarian aid, including medical equipment and food. Apart from NGOs, Turkey has officially given more than $1 million (TL 2.1 million) to Rohingya Muslims and the Turkish Red Crescent has continued its activities to help refugees.
