Police launches operation in southeastern of Turkey

DIYARBAKIR — Police launched an operation on Friday against an illegal group which has been blocked the roads since last week in Lice and Hani district of southeastern province of Diyarbakır.
Police and gendarme officials intervened the unauthorized demonstrations with water cannons and tear gas. Protesters reacted the police operation with Molotov cocktails, fireworks and stones.
