İş Sanat, the meeting point for art lovers in Istanbul, continues to present the best examples of music, theater and painting in December. With its rich program, İş Sanat is ready to welcome artists and art lovers
Haldun Taner, a leading name in Turkish literature during the Republic years, will be remembered on his 100th birthday with a new concert consisting of his most popular stories. The concert titled "Man is Just a Tool," composed by Atilla Birkiye and adapted for the stage by Mehmet Birkiye, will welcome important theater actors such as Tilbe Saran, Metin Belgin, Bülent Emin Yarar and Hakan Gerçek to the stage. The actors will read Taner's stories, including "Bayanlar 00" (Ladies 00), "Konçinalar," "İznikli Leylek" (Stork from İznik) and "Sancho'nun Sabah Yürüyüşü" (Sancho's Morning Walk). Like all other storytelling concerts presented by İş Sanat, the stage will transform into a radio recording studio, and Serdar Yalçın's piano will be heard throughout the concert. The concert will enable you to remember the powerful talent of observation and the ironic style of the master, Taner, with his stories, plays, essays and columns. It will take place today at İş Sanat.
One of the youngest leading names of classical music, violin virtuoso Charlie Siem, will perform with Camerata Salzburgh, one of the most renowned chamber orchestras in Europe.
Siem was enchanted with Yehudi Menuhin's performance of Beethoven's "Violin Concerto" and decided to begin playing the violin when he was 3 years old. With a lot of hard work, he became one of the most exciting young names in classic music. With four albums and various performances with renowned orchestras from around the world, including the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, Czech National Symphony and Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, the British violinist won the praise of critics, especially with his performance of Shostakovich's "1st Violin Concerto," together with the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra.
As one of Europe's leading and long-established orchestras, which has been in search for "perfection" since the day it was founded, the Camerata Salzburg will accompany Siem to perform works of Mozart, Elgar and Tchaikovsky on Dec. 10.

Written and directed by Murat Göksu, the main characters of this magical play will be portrayed by Gökçen Gökçebağ, Zeynep Kızıltan, Hicran Akın, Didem Atasoy, Ahmet Baykara and Can Sıkyıldız. İş Sanat will open its doors for young art lovers on Dec. 10 at 3 p.m. with music played by Ece Göksu and Barış Büyükyıldırım.
