A sponsor of activities centered around culture and the arts, Enka Culture and Arts will greet July with a rich program full of open-air meetings, concerts, theater performances and open-air cinema screenings throughout the month of July.
As part of the 29th Enka Culture and Arts open-air events, a play by Mam'art titled, "Nereye Gitti Bütün Çiçekler?" (Where have all the flowers gone?) will open the event. The play directed by Tuğrul Tülek and performed by accomplished actors and actresses including Şenay Gürler, Hale Akınlı, Goncagül Sunar, Feri Baycu, Gözde Kansu, Melisa Doğu and Ece Yüksel, will offer a joyful night for spectators on July 3.
Open-air events will continue with a performance by Ayhan Sicimoğlu and the Latin All Stars performing "Why the Spectators are Mad" with Sicimoğlu's own words. A pioneer of the Turcolatino stream, Ayhan Sicimoğlu will take the Enka stage along with the Latin All Stars on the evening of July 5. One of Turkey's top female vocalists Sertab Erener and talented guitarist, lyricist and composer Emre Kula will also greet audiences on July 6.
With sweet quarrels that are unique to close friends, cheerful mannerisms and popular songs, the Bora Öztoprak and Emre Kınay duo will offer a joyous evening to listeners with popular songs on Wednesday, July 12.
The program will continue with a performance from acting professional Haldun Dormen, who will perform the leading role in a play he wrote himself, titled, "Bir Zamanlar Gazinoda" ("Once Upon a Time at the Club") to be performed on Monday evening, July 17. The play tells the story of a meeting between two former comedians who were once popular but broke up as a result of a specific incident.
The program will continue with invigorating activities, offering a nostalgic experience with open-air film screenings. Istanbulites with an appreciation for art will enjoy the open-air cinema at Enka. In the context of film screenings, popular works from the history of cinema will be screened in addition 2017 Oscar award-winning films including "Captain Fantastic" showing on July 18, "Their Finest" showing on July 19, "Arrival" to be screened on July 25 and "The Circle" showing on July 26.
All events held in the context of the program will start at 9:15 p.m.
