The second largest commercial group in Turkey, Sabancı Holding, is preparing to sell Temsa, the distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles, according to a story on the BloombergHT news website. Sabancı Holding is said to be in contact with Credit Suisse. The same sources reported that Bayraktar Holding, which distributes various automobile parts and brands with Sumitomo from Japan, might also be interested in Temsa. Sabancı had restructured its Temsa unit in 2013 and made Temsa İş Makinaları (Temsa Construction Equipment) a separate entity. The company sold 49 percent of its construction products to Marubeni Corp last year.
