The plane carrying NBA stars of the Oklahoma City Thunder was damaged mid-air when the nose of the plane caved in on Friday night, causing panic among the players and other passengers.

The team was returning from Minneapolis, where they lost Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday, to Chicago, where they will play against Chicago Bulls on Saturday.

The reason for the incident is not yet clear, but the image of the plane suggests that it hit an object while flying.

Several stars posted photos of the plane after landing, asking what might have caused the incident.
