Dollar drops against Lira after poor US employment

The U.S. dollar decreased to its lowest level in the last three weeks to 2.5585 against Turkish Lira after the announcement of U.S. employment data, which was below forecasts. The parity rate had started the day at 2.57 and increased to 2.597 by mid-Friday, but it decreased to as low as 2.5585 within half an hour of the announcement of the U.S. employment data. The euro also showed a strong performance against the U.S. dollar with a gain of more than 1 percent.
