Turkish Airlines (THY) will launch direct flights between the popular southern holiday area of Antalya and Algeria starting on July 8, the national flag carrier announced Monday.
The flights will operate three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, the company said in a written statement.
Direct flights on the said route will continue until Sept. 23, according to the company's statement.
"These direct flights will make it much easier to reach Turkey's touristic hub of Antalya from Algeria," it added.
Turkey's flag carrier flies to nearly 300 destinations in 120 countries worldwide, more than any other airline, according to the company.
