Indicating there are currently eight toll booths on the July 15 Martyrs Bridge, Arslan announced they will start work on April 20 in order to remove the toll booths to provide a free-pass system.
Moreover, in order to maintain the flow of traffic without experiencing any difficulties, Arslan said passengers will be able to pass through four toll booths, while the works will continue on the other four toll booths. He also said they will then replace the other four toll booths.
Arslan explained that work on free-pass system will be completed on July 15.
"We hope the free-pass system will be completed on Martyrs Day on July 15. Our citizens will experience no delays or waiting. They will be able to pass across the Anatolian and European sides readily," he said.
