Turkey's Foreign Minister Sinirlioğlu meets Qatari counterpart in New York, discusses Syria

Turkish Foreign Minister Feridun Sinirlioğlu met Thursday with his Qatari counterpart Khalid bin Mohammad Al-Attiyah to discuss the Syrian conflict and other issues, diplomatic sources said.
The ministers, who are in New York for the 70th UN General Assembly, addressed bilateral ties and regional issues including the conflicts in Syria, Yemen and Libya, according to information obtained from Turkish foreign ministry sources.
The meeting was held at Qatar's permanent mission to the UN.
Prior to the meeting, Sinirlioğlu joined top diplomats representing the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) to discuss ways to improve relations between Turkey and the regional body.
