People's Republican Party (CHP) Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu said on Friday that the U.S. has to stick to international agreements concerning the extradition of Fethullah Gülen.
Kılıçdaroğlu said that the current findings reveal that Gülen was behind the July 15 coup attempt, and added: "If the U.S. does not extradite him and if Fethullah Gülen claims that he has nothing to do with anything, then he has to come to Turkey himself. You claim that you are innocent. Then come to Turkey and go to trial. We support the government on this matter. On the other hand, there is a delay concerning the extradition. The U.S. has to stick to international agreements as much as we do. This is a fact of the world. [If the data] says that the main actor is Fethullah Gülen, then [the U.S.] has to extradite him."
