First time in a year Borsa Istanbul closes over 80,000

ISTANBUL — Borsa Istanbul's BIST-100 index was up at the close of the daily session on Friday. The benchmark index increased by 594.59 points to end at 80,397.55. Stocks gained 0.75 percent in value while the total trading volume was 3.2 billion Turkish liras.
