Three male judges have been sacked for viewing pornography at work, the British government's judicial watchdog said on Tuesday.
The two district judges and an immigration judge were "removed from judicial office following an investigation into an allegation that they viewed pornographic material on judicial IT equipment in their offices," the Judicial Conduct and Investigations Office said.
Investigators were satisfied that the pornographic material viewed by the three judges, who were not linked, did not include images of children or other illegal content.
But they found the judges guilty of "an inexcusable misuse of their judicial IT accounts and wholly unacceptable conduct," the office said.
A fourth judge would have been sacked but he resigned before the completion of a disciplinary investigation into a similar allegation of viewing pornography via an official account, it said.
