This week's classical music concerts continue with the Presidential Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Alpaslan Ertüngealp, who started his musical education at the age of seven. Piano soloists Cem Başaran and Başarcan Kıvrak will play Tchaikovsky's Marche Slave (Slavonic March) and 1812 Overture alongside Russian composer Modest Petrovich Mussorgsk's Night on Bald Mountain and Hungarian composer Bela Bartok's sonata for two pianos and percussion. The internationally acclaimed orchestra under Rengim Gökmen, the principal conductor, has performed in various countries around the world from Germany, Italy and Lebanon to Switzerland.
