The musical group Burruezo & Bohemia Camerata, led by the artist and ecoactivist Pedro Burruezo Navarro, will act soon, in a trio format, in Ankara. The concert, which will bring to Turkey the repertoire of his praised "Misticisssimus," will be part of the festival of music and the arts at the Middle East Technical University. "Misticisssimus" is based on the poetry and life of the medieval mystics of the three Abrahamic faiths (Islam, Christianity, Judaism), and leads us from the past to the future with a message of brotherhood, unity and exultant poetry in these times of confusion and chaos, adding importance to initiatives like the Alliance of Civilizations, which strongly links Spain and Turkey. The poetry of Ibn Al Arabi, Rumi, San Juan de la Cruz, Kabir, the Desert Fathers, Santa Teresa and Maimonides takes its shape on the music sheet in works ranging from the traditional to the more contemporary, with unusual beauty in a passionate, ground-breaking performance. Moorish breezes and Medieval Christendom perfumes Sephardic pieces, Sufi aroma, classical harmonies, flamenco's "quejios" Burruezo & Bohemia Camerata is a mixer where everything is combined in the most natural and harmonious way.
