Turkish artist Çetin Pireci questions the problems occurring due to developments in the digital world, an indispensable part of our lives, with his exhibition "Yekvücut" (Single Body) at D'art Gallery. Pireci's ongoing exhibition offers a totally different perspective with his works made from natural materials and without any electronic devices. He implores viewers to think of individualism and solitude triggered by advanced technology. Opened on May 12, his exhibition tries to find the reasons why people are forced into feeling lonely especially at a time when the world requires solidarity and cooperation. His works beseech viewers to unite under a common banner to avoid depression caused by loneliness and take them from the digital world to a more natural atmosphere.
