Started on June 11, "States of Material III" is the latest exhibition of Armaggan Art and Design Gallery, a perfect venue for cultural events in the historic Beyazıt Neighborhood. As understood from the exhibition title, the event gathers artwork from different disciplines including textile, accessory and furniture design, as well as sculptures and painting. Instead of focusing on artistic perspectives, the displayed items all prioritize "material," the most essential unit of objects. Sharing similar art views, 44 artists such as Arman Suciyan, Yiğit Dündar, Yavuz Ergun, Nejla Güvenç, Neşe Çoğal, Güneş Özmen and Tan Taşpolatoğlu apply different techniques on their work. The exhibition introduces 18 group and eight individual projects. Combining expertise and aesthetic approaches in one hand, all artists produced the displayed objects in three months. The event is highly recommended for those with a special interest in exclusive design works.
