The monster comes alive on stage with new ‘Frankenstein' adaptation

Mary Shelly's sensational 19th century novel "Frankenstein" has been adapted to the screen many times since the novel hit the bookshelves. The cult novel was adapted to the stage by Nick Dear and will be performed for art lovers in Turkey for the first time with stage direction by Şakir Gürzumar. The play, which will be presented by the Çolpan İlhan-Sadri Alışık Theater, was performed by the London National Theater for the last five seasons, and all tickets for the play have sold out. "Frankenstein" will be performed as a part of the 20th anniversary celebrations of the Çolpan İlhan–Sadri Alışık Theater. Starring veteran actors Cansel Elçin, Deniz Uğur, Yılmaz Gruda, Engin Gürmen, Merve Erdoğan, Batuhan Pamukçu, Ömür Kayakırılmaz, Burcu Görek, Ozan Akif Serman, Nalan Deliormanlı, Şahin Adıgüzel, Feride Ceyda Elkaya, Ali Keçeli and Kerem Alışık, the play will make its Turkish debut on Dec. 12 at Zorlu Performing Arts Center (PSM).
