Tourismhotspot Bodrum, in the southwestern province of Muğla, will host "Austria Days" between March 7 and 21. The event will see Bodrum welcome Austrian jazz bands and host screenings of the finest examples of Austrian cinema. Co-organized by Bodrum Municipality and the Austria Culture Office, "Austria Days" events will take place at Bodrum Municipality's Heredot Cultural Center. The festivities will kick off with a live performance by Austrian jazz ensemble Triple Ace -- Colours in Jazz.
The band, which has performed at festivals around the world, promises music lovers a feast for the ears. Comprised of Oliver Kent, Ui Langthaler and Dusan Novakos, the trio performs at prominent jazz venues in Vienna. In addition to the music program, the event will include the film screenings "Ars Electronica Animated Films" and "Tricky Women: Austrian Female Directors." Events in the "Austrian Days" lineup are open to the public and free of charge.
