Barış Sarıbaş'slatest creations are being displayed at Istanbul-based art gallery Piramid Sanat until March 26. Sarıbaş's passion for his work can be compared to the ancient Persians' love for their professions which was described in ancient texts as "Nothing, not the snow nor the heat or the darkness of the night could keep them away from their job."
Sarıbaş, who continues to produce at his workshops in İzmir and Istanbul, presents ambiguous human figures adorned with the reddish reds and bluest blues. The light in Sarıbaş's artwork takes the audience under its spell.
