For 32 years, TEM art gallery continues events with a group exhibition of painting, sculpture and photography by great masters and young artists, which will be open until Nov. 4, in its two-story location in the Nişantaşı district of Istanbul. The gallery presents an anthology of current art's important figures, with paintings on canvas, sculpture, photography, patterns and pieces that have been produced with various techniques, in an exhibition that displays years of accumulation.
The exhibition is important for its anthology, which houses big paintings by gallery artists, as well as for revealing the bond between generations and art. Pieces by Hakkı Anlı, Adnan Varınca, Gökşin Sipahioğlu, Ömer Kaleşi, Alecos Fassianos from Greece, Nevin İşlek, Güngör İblikçi, Yuri Kuper from Russia, Hale Sontaş, Mehmet Güler, Zeki Fındıkoğlu, Hüseyin Ertunç, Abdulkadir Öztürk, Angelos Panayiotidis from Greece, Gülden Artun, Nur Özalp, Talat Enlil, Devabil Kara and Özlem Özkan are on display.
It is rare to see such art together like this, since artists generally open exhibitions twice a year. The exhibition, which is home to an anthology of 20 prominent Turkish and foreign artists who work with different techniques and some of whom are not alive today, gives a general idea about the current state of art. Therefore, this exhibition provides an opportunity to introduce an important section of contemporary painting and.
