Galatasaray beat lower division team Manisaspor 4-0 in the Ziraat Turkish Cup quarter final's first leg at Turk Telekom Arena in Istanbul on Tuesday night. Dictating the tempo of the game, Turkish Cup contenders Galatasaray eased past their opponents thanks to goals scored by Swiss central midfielder Blerim Dzemaili, Turkish midfielder Emre Çolak and Macedonian forward Goran Pandev, who scored twice. Galatasaray now has the upper hand in advancing to the semi-finals in the Turkish Cup. The second leg between the sides will be played on Wednesday April 8 in Manisa. The Ziraat Turkish Cup, an annual domestic tournament in Turkey, is organized by the Turkish Football Federation. It is open to teams from every division and includes the highest one, Spor Toto Super League, and a lower one called Turkish Football Federation First League.
