ISTANBUL - Turkey has been feeling the effects of cold weather and temperatures drops, which have caused heavy snowfall in the country, since last week. Istanbul has also been hit by snow following a drop in temperature last night, but the snow is expected to turn into rain mixed with snow.
VAN - According to a statement released by the Turkish state Meteorological Service, the cold air and snow is expected to move to the following cities: the south and eastern cities of Çanakkale, Balıkesir, Bursa, Bilecik, Yalova, Kocaeli and Sakarya in the Marmara Region; Bolu, Düzce, Karabük, Kastamonu, Zonguldak, Bartın, and Sinop in the Black Sea Region; the city of Eskişehir in the Central Anatolia Region; and the city of Kütahya in the Aegean Region.
