Turkey detains 11 foreign Daesh suspects during attempt to cross illegally into Syria

Turkey has detained 11 foreign nationals suspected of being Daesh members in south-central Kilis province, military said Tuesday.
The suspects were held by border troops Sunday as they were attempting to cross illegally into Syria from Elbeyli town, General Staff said in a statement on its official website.
Meanwhile, eight PKK terrorists, including a woman fleeing from northern Iraq surrendered to security forces in the southeastern town of Silopi, with another turning himself in Şırnak province, Monday, the statement added.;
Troops also detained three PKK terrorists in Şanlıurfa's Suruç town, who were trying to enter into Turkey from Syria, and two others trying to cross into Syria to join the PKK in Mardin's Nusaybin town, it said.
