Turkey's top religious body suspended Tuesday an additional 2,560 personnel over alleged ties with the Gülenist terror-cult.
A statement from the Directorate of Religious Affairs (DİB) said the suspended personnel are from all ranks and include personnel from central, provincial and foreign organizations.
With the latest suspensions, the number of suspended personnel at the DİB has reached 3,672.
Commissions assigned on the issue continue their comprehensive work, the statement said.
Since the bloody coup attempt by putschists linked to the FETÖ, over 70,000 public servants have been suspended from their duties over links to the terror group.
