Istanbul Police Department have carried out an operation on land and civil registry offices, detaining 30 people, including 15 officers, on alleged transactions involving bribery on Friday morning.
Police from the Istanbul Finance Bureau launched operation on 34 different addresses as a result of two-year investigation, security sources said.
The suspects are allegedly involved in "organizing a crime syndicate for the purpose of generating monetary profit".
In the early hours of the morning in simultaneous raids were held and about 30 people were taken into custody. Those detained suspects were brought to Haseki Training and Research Hospital for a checkup prior to being taken to the police for questioning.
