Organized by the Yunus Emre Institute in collaboration with the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), Turkish Culture Days will continue until Thursday in Rabat, Morocco. The exhibition "Panorama" opened to visitors at Muhammed V Theater as part of the ongoing days. Speaking during the ceremony, Culture Minister Emin Sbihi underscored the common historical and cultural values between the two nations, and said the cultural activities are an opportunity to enhance relations. Develi emphasized that cultural events allow nations to better know each other, adding people easily learn about each other's background through visual and audial events such as exhibitions and concerts. The institute will continue the initiatives to promote Turkey in Morocco, and necessary steps will also be taken to introduce Moroccan culture in Turkey.
Following the opening ceremony, a Turkish folk dance group took the stage and a Turkish music choir sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, gave a concert. Turks residing in Morocco as well as locals showed great interest in the events.
