The vice-chancellor of Üsküdar University, Professor Sevil Atasoy, claimed that they will soon be able to draw a police sketch of a suspect from his or her saliva or dandruff. According to the statement released by Üsküdar University, Atasoy shared her professional experiences with the students at the panel session titled "The Detective Inside" at the university's Nermin Tarhan Conference Hall. Atasoy, who said that she studied chemistry although she wanted to sell newspapers or become a hairdresser or architect when she was a child, said there is a detective in everybody. She said that forensic science can determine many substances through body hair and heralded that they will be able to draw a police sketch of a suspect from his or her saliva or dandruff in three years. "With today's technology, we can only determine eye and hair color with saliva and dandruff," she concluded.
