Turkey's popular ski resorts are preparing for the new season as weather forecasts predict more snowy days in the upcoming period. Erzurum's Palandöken and Bursa's Kartalkaya ski resorts have already started being covered with snow since this weekend. At present, the snow depth has reached 7 centimeters in Palandöken, while it is 5 centimeters in Kartalkaya. Some visitors enjoyed snowball fights and took photos. In Kartalkaya, hotels have completed the final preparations for upcoming visitors. They expect around 250,000 tourists this season. Halit Ergül, a hotel owner, said they are expecting more snow as well. The ski season in Turkey generally lasts four to six months, with areas accumulating up to 3 meters of snow. Luxurious resort hotels in ski resorts offer all-inclusive packages, ski lessons and equipment, with restaurants, fitness centers, indoor pools, saunas and hamams.
