Siberian tigers and seals living in Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Zoo are fed according to their natural diet by their caretakers. The zoo, home to 1,100 animals from 110 different species, hosts two Siberian tigers named Victor and Finja, who have three caretakers.
Tigers eat the food that is prepared according to their diet in their natural habitat. Their caretakers sometimes place their food on four meter long stick or under the ground in order to enable tigers to hunt in the zoo.
The tigers, which eat 3.5 kilograms of food a day, later spend time with a rope reel, specially designed for them to play with. The seals that are fed fresh fish put on shows for the visitors of the zoo, catching fish in the air as their caretakers feed them.
