Arabic investors have been preparing to build a high-end holiday village in Ordu, which will contribute to the development of Turkey's housing sector. The governor of Turkey's northeastern district of Ordu, İrfan Balkanlıoğlu, said, "Within the last year, Arab investors invested in over 200 housing units. Now, they have applied to build golf facilities and a holiday village."
He added that thanks to the new airport built in the area, it is now possible to reach high plateaus, forests and waterfalls in just 15 minutes by car. Balkanoğlu stated that because of the success of previous projects, Arab investors are willing to fund a holiday village with bungalows. He also underlined the fact that this type of holiday village will also serve as a rehabilitation center for old and disabled people. "These investors have put a lot of effort and hundreds of millions of dollars into building golf facilities, swimming pools and landscaping projects. They have been continuing their good work and making both Europeans and Turks more excited to vacation in Turkey," Balkanlıoğlu said.
