The Genetic Password System, which is based on a gene analysis through DNA studies, has been carried out by Turkish scientists. Casting a gene map defining people's characteristics as well as physical features and discovering which gene affects people and how will enable scientists to determine in which branch of sports the sportsmen can be successful. Founded by medical genetics expert Hakan Berkil, biologist Serkan Doğan and master trainer Altan Öztepe, the Genetic Password Academy is located in Istanbul.
Tolga Aksoy, the academy's İzmir representative, said, "These studies are undertaken only in Istanbul. The training, seminars and certification system that we provide are licensed." Aksoy said that after a DNA analysis they recommend people join a certain branch of sports in which they can be successful and try to minimize the risk of heart attack while doing sports. "The passwords in the human genetic structure as well as the studies that we conduct in all branches of sports feature three active genes. When we do sports, they reach their most active level. In other words, these genes are responsible in nearly all sports." Aksoy said.
The Genetic Password Academy is working with various local and international sports clubs along with the national team. Currently, the academy has joined forces with Galatasaray Sports Club, Sarıyer Football Club, the Montenegro national team and Brazil. France will also work with the academy in the upcoming season.
