Twitter has announced a new feature which allows users to retweet their own tweets in their social media interactions.

The social media giant tweeted on Tuesday, saying, "Now you can easily Retweet or Quote Tweet yourself with just a few taps. Pick an old favorite and give it a try!."

Twitter also said that users can undo their actions after retweeting. "As with all Retweets, you're able to undo and repeat at any time," Twitter said in a reply to a user.

"A protected account will still be able to Retweet any Tweet, but they'll only be visible to that account's Followers," Twitter replied to another user.
