Undersecretary at the Austrian embassy in Ankara, Sabine Korissenbrunner, has broken her foot on Thursday after falling down while skiing in Süphan Mountain in the eastern Turkish city of Bitlis.
While climbing the mountain with a group of five people to go skiing, Kroissenbruneer got injured and could not climb down the mountain.
The gendarmerie and a health team took Kroissenbrunner to the Van Training and Research Hospital via a tracked ambulance. Her injuries are not life-threatening.
