Turkish security forces have detained two Syrian nationals accused of selling munitions they smuggled into Turkey from Syria. The unidentified suspects were captured in a joint operation by Turkish National Police and gendarmerie troops in the Kızıltepe district of southeastern Turkish province Mardin. Acting on a tip-off, security forces stormed the house the two were staying in. A thorough search found 3,090 pieces of ammunition, including 178 anti-aircraft ammunitions in a secret cache.
