Istanbul police detain terror suspects in air-assisted operation

Istanbul police conducted an air-supported anti-terror operation in Şişli district on early Friday.
Special operation units along with officers from the anti-terror branch of Istanbul police department raided 17 addresses which were previously identified.
The police took extensive security measures during the operation which was assisted by a police helicopter.
The suspected terrorists were detained and were taken to the police headquarter in the Fatih district.
Since July, security forces in the country have been increasingly conducting anti-terrorist operations against the PKK and Daesh terror organizations.
