The Turkish army said on Saturday it had detained 37 people trying to cross illegally from Syria.
According to the statement, 37 people, including women and children, were Syrian nationals and trying to enter the Ceylanpınar district of Turkey's southern Şanlıurfa province. The army said the suspects were coming from Syria's PYD/YPG-controlled Rasulayn region.
The captured Syrians were later taken to the district's gendarmerie station for interrogation.
