Japanese firm donates heat packs to Turkish Red Crescent

Japanese company Kowa donated 864,000 heat packs to the Turkish Red Crescent.
The donations were handed to the charity yesterday in Ankara at a ceremony attended by Japanese Ambassador to Ankara Hiroshi Oka and Red Crescent officials.
Ambassador Oka said the heat packs can keep users warm for 24 hours and are easy to use.
Red Crescent Director Mehmet Güllüoğlu thanked Japan for the donations and praised its high standing among the countries offering development and humanitarian aid in other countries.
