Police seized two anti-tank missiles and arrested an Iranian truck driver in Turkey's Port of Zonguldak, reports said Sunday.

According to reports, customs officers found components of anti-tank missiles in the vehicle of the Iranian man, who came to the port by Cenk-y cargo vessel from Ukraine on Thursday and was heading to Iran.

In a statement released on Sunday, the Ministry of Customs and Trade said that they suspect the confiscated anti-tank missiles could have been sent by terrorist groups for maintenance or repair operations.

Police is investigating potential terror links, while Zonguldak Prosecutor's Office is handling the case, the ministry said.

The statement added that the truck driven by Iranian national identified as E. E. was supposedly carrying diapers, but hid the anti-tank missiles in a hidden cache inside the truck.
