Google under fire for allowing violent "Bomb Gaza" game

The Internet giant Google is facing criticism for allowing violent games based on the bombing of Gaza. Due to increasing disapproval, Google removed the game earlier this week after coming under fire for hosting the game, "Bomb Gaza," which they found violated Google's terms and conditions for Google Play content. The game involves piloting an Israeli air-force jet over Gaza and attempting to bomb a two-dimensional representation of the Hamas-controlled territory. The game, which was released last month, had been downloaded around 1,000 times. There have been several other games uploaded onto Google Play since the Israeli assault on Gaza began. The games titled "Israel Under Attack" and "Whack the Hamas" also praise Israeli actions, which led to the mass killing of Palestinian civilians.
