13-year-old-boy kills brother and wounds another before killing himself

A 13-year-old boy has shot and killed his six-year-old brother and wounded his 16-year-old brother, before shooting himself with a hand gun. The shootings occurred after a dispute over food, according to Florida police, media sources have reported.

The incident took place in the family's mobile home in Pasco County, a suburban community of Hudson, after 6 p.m. The wounded brother notified the police, Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco told a press conference on Wednesday.

"This is a horrific scene, this is a nightmare," Nocco added. There is no information on how the boy obtained the gun at home, where the three boys lived with their mother and another 18-year-old brother. Both the elder brother and mother were away from home during the incident. The wounded boy is being treated and his condition is not life threatening, reports said.
