US family has first baby-girl after 100 years of baby-boys

A family living in the United States has had the first baby-girl in the family's 100 year heritage.

The Underdahl family, living in Idaho, has always had baby-boys since 1914. However, the family was excited to find out that the first baby-girl, named Auerelia, after a century was delivered on April 12.

The baby's mother, Ashton Underdahl, said that she was suprised when they found out that she was having a baby-girl.

"I was not prepared for this, I am very surprised," she said.

"It has been shocking for the family to buy pink colored clothes and toy," the mother said and added that her father-in-law had decided to do a research on this rare issue.
