Newly exposed photos of U.S. President Barack Obama has retriggered debate in the American media over his religious beliefs, whether or not he belongs to the Muslim faith.

Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly on Wednesday said the president's photo in Muslim clothing showed his 'deep emotional ties' to the faith.

According to the Fox News website, images shown on O'Reilly's TV show were reportedly taken in 1990s, at the president's half brother, Malik Obama's, wedding in Maryland.

The report added that President Obama met his older half-brother, who now lives in rural Kenya, for the first time in 1985.
