Ralph Fiennes' "Coriolanus" to premiere in Berlin

British actor Ralph Fiennes' directorial debut "Coriolanus" will have its world premiere at next year's Berlin film festival, where it will play outside the main competition line-up.



The Shakespeare adaptation was filmed in Belgrade earlier this year and features Fiennes, nominated for Academy Awards for his roles in the "The English Patient" and "Schindler's List," in the title role.Also unveiled Wednesday were competition entries "Our Grand Despair" from Turkey, "Lipstikka" from Israel, "If Not Us, Who?" and "The Future" from Germany and U.S. picture "Yelling to the Sky."Wim Wenders will be involved with his movie "Pina," billed as a dance film in 3-D, which is not in competition.As previously announced, the annual cinema showcase which runs from February 10-20 next year opens with the Coen brothers' latest movie "True Grit," also out of competition.
