American singer, pianist songwriter and actor John Legend, will be performing his first concert in Istanbul on July 29 as part of the 20th Istanbul Jazz Festival. The nine-time Grammy winner and one of the 100 most influential people win the world, will be performing for his Istanbul fans at the Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Amphitheatre.

Legend, who has been named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time magazine, has released a number of worldwide hit songs such as "Ordinary People", "Save Room", "Everybody Knows" and "Used to Love U".

The Istanbul Jazz Festival has been held by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (IKSV) every year since 1994.

Taking place in the first half of July, the festival features jazz, pop, rock and world music performances in different venues throughout Istanbul.
