This year's biennial, centered on the theme of creating a public domain accessible to everyone, presents a collection of works from 88 artist and art collectives to art lovers in the metropolis. Curated by Fulya Erdemci, this year's biennial is entitled "Mom, am I a barbarian?"

Nearly 5,000 guests including art critics, curators, museum and gallery administrators and members of the press are expected to visit the biennial, which will be free of charge for visitors and runs until October 20th.
