Urban Trends: May your day shine

I experienced the perfect start to the week last Monday. In the afternoon, I went to look for a wedding ring with my cousin and his beautiful fiancé. As a memory from my time in the United States, we visited Tiffany & Co. located at Zorlu Center. We were greeted by the noble, beautiful and experienced Dilek Ertek, who has been the president of the brand in Turkey for more than 20 years. The store is as stylish as the ones dotted throughout the world, but avoids excessive pretension. The quality of the decoration lies in the details. The blue stones known as Amazonite, which are brought from the Amazon, draw attention, as they are laid in thinly paved strips. Also, the interior includes a lovely accent made from the same stone and they found a stone that is close to the trademark color of Tiffany's. Other designs in the storefront are done in Art deco. I suggest you pay special attention to the details on the entry door.Tiffany's was founded in 1837, and it is one of the world's oldest jewelry brands. They pioneered many projects, from forging swords for the U.S. army during the American Civil War, to medal design for the U.S. navy. The brand, which collaborates with legendary designers such as Jean Schlumberger, Andy Warhol, Elsa Peretti, Jean Schlumberger, Francesca Amfitheatrof and Paloma Picasso, Pablo Picasso's daughter, is the symbol of power, elegance and luxury today. I loved the pigeon-themed designs made by Paloma Picasso. By the way, "paloma" means "pigeon" in Spanish. It is a very noble, liberal and modern design. In addition, the cutlery, champagne glasses, cheese knives, ice tongs and pens are quite eye-catching. There are quality pen designs for both men and women. Tiffany's, having added "accompanying you for a lifetime" to their vision, has accessories for baby shower ceremonies as well. I especially loved the silver tooth fairy box. The following season will include very stylish jeweled wristwatches for men.Needless to say, our purpose for visiting was to find wedding rings and a diamond solitaire ring. Dilek and her team are very knowledgeable in their field. They told us about the characteristics of flawless diamonds and how much of a perfectionist Tiffany's is regarding gem selection. While diamonds are in fact quite abundant, it is hard to find flawless ones. Although Tiffany's is an expensive brand, I think the quality and assurance they offer is deserving of the price tag, especially since these kinds of gifts are only given once in a lifetime. While I was browsing for wedding rings and looking at the huge diamond solitaires, Dilek indicated that they have a small surprise waiting in their store for customers coming to receive their rings. When couples arrive to receive their rings, they open up a bottle of champagne and offer chocolate to celebrate their special moment. Isn't that nice? I strongly recommend for you to visit Tiffany's to immortalize your love. After they selected their rings, I went to Nişantaşı to meet one of my friends for dinner at Le Petite Maison. This location was perfectly worthy for such an elegant day. There are five Le Petite Maison restaurants in the world. The one in Istanbul opened in 2014, and it is the largest in the world. First, we had a Tomatini, the venue's signature cocktail, at the entrance bar, as the tomato-rich cocktail caught my attention. With the insistence of Yavuz Ayvaz, the bartender, we followed that with a cocktail called passion dream, which is made of passion fruit. Both were excellent. The Bedri Baykam paintings around the bar were as great as the cocktails. Elif Tamer, the restaurant's manager, is a graceful communicator. She is warm, friendly and very knowledgeable. She is well-versed in the history of the brand, menus and works of art within the venue and she is a manager who is in love with her restaurant. The venue includes the bar at the entrance, the main hall in the middle and a very pleasant winter garden in the exterior. This area, with a very cozy fireplace, was landscaped by Zeynep Fadıllıoğlu. The main venue, entrance and bar were designed by Sagrada Company, which prepares all the Le Petite Maison restaurants in the world. It is a noble environment dominated by cream colors. All areas of the venue can be reserved for private events. Apart from the cult dishes of French cuisine, Le Petite Maison includes many original dishes and Mediterranean-inspired cuisines. The traditional French onion soup, frog legs and even Evian, the famous water brand, are impossible to find. However, you can satisfy all of your astonishment with much more impressive details. The menus of the venue are designed by Max Carter throughout the world. Also, pans from his own designs are exhibited on the walls. The venue features live music, including the musical groups Bel Canto and Fun Play. The musical groups visit each table and offer pleasant moments to guests. For all other days, the venue has its own resident DJ. When we examined the menu, we found that the eggplant pate with pistachios appetizer was perfect. But actually, I admired the dish called fragola with shrimp sauce and zucchini. It is similar to risotto, but not exactly the same. Also, the tartar sauce tuna was prepared exactly as I wanted, with garlic and lots of spice. The shrimp with almonds cooked in citrus was also very tasty. I was delighted by the serving of ice cream with ice cubes called sorbet before the main course. For the entree, I suggest the lamb chops. As for wine, we tried a red wine called Le Petite Maison, bearing the venue's own name. In brief, the venue is romantic, of high quality and tasty. The customer base, decoration and cuisines will make you feel like you are abroad. After dinner, we went to the promotional event for a health center called Ageless Clinic at Klein, the popular nightclub in Harbiye. The clinic, which was founded by the Istanbul Surgical Health Group, provides a unique boutique service for its customers. It is very trendy, for skin rejuvenation treatment, they apply Ulthera technology, which is offered as an alternative to plastic surgery and the most preferred method in the U.S. these days. In addition, the Ageless Clinic, which incorporates many applications such as stem cells, metabolism and hormone therapy, nutrition and diet, acupuncture and Ayurveda, offers plastic surgery, laser, dermatology, varicose treatment, cosmetic and dental treatments as well as hair transplant surgery using the PRP method as well. If you are considering hair transplant surgery, my advice to you is to check out the Akademi Hair Therapy Center. The center, which is managed by Evrim Bayraktar, is a company that provides services in the field of cosmetics by referencing the science of Trichology. Following a personal analysis, a special health care program is determined for you. You preserve your hair by visiting this center in person in regular intervals. It is run by specialized staff who all graduated from the two-year license program of the Institute of Trichologists in the United Kingdom, and are experienced regarding hair problems. I recommend you visit both health centers for more information and to experience the trend of boutique health care.Top 3 Venues of the WeekKleinSaigonBeer HallTop 3 Hotels of the WeekArmagganAjiaW HotelTop 3 People to Follow this WeekFabio Suarez / BusinessmanTuğçe Serter / PR professionalMurat Tokuz / DJ
