Resin's 'dance with colors' on display

The second solo exhibition of artist Nadide Goldştayn is open for art lovers at the Bodrum Pasha Art Gallery from Sept. 15-30.

The artist uses various painting techniques in her works, including resin, which is new in Turkey. The fusion of resin layers with colors and gold dust in Goldştayn's paintings make every table unique. Inspired by nature, the artist says, "Painting is the journey of colors and texture. Every table has a different depth and emotional element."

Goldştayn's passion for painting goes back to her childhood. Having worked as a marketing manager in international companies in Turkey and Canada for many years, Goldştayn recently began concentrating on painting. After studying painting under Peter Dammers in Amsterdam, Goldştayn worked in the U.S. with many artists including Wanda Mumm, Bill Bayer and Cynthia Knox. Having attended various art congresses in the U.S., the artist participated in the art fair held within the 2010 Winter Olympics. The biggest supporter of her painting endeavors is her husband Murat Goldştayn, who is an art lover like her.
